Head to Head Comparison QMobile Noir A550 Vs QMobile Noir i9

QMobile recently launched some decent quad-core phones with elegant design and for the record moved from 512MB Ram to 1GB.In the recent launched quad-core QMobile Noir A550 and QMobile Noir i9 gained my attention so i thought to do a comparison which one you should go for and which one not.

Display

Starting from display QMobile Noir i9 comes with a huge 5-inch 720P HD display at a resolution of  1280 x 720 pixels, while the QMobile Noir A550 comes with 4.5-inch IPS qHD display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution.QMobile Noir i9 has HD screen with 5-inch display while QMobile Noir A550 has qHD screen with  4.5-inch display so for the pixel it doesn't make big difference both will have almost same ppi but still my vote will go for a HD screen rather then a qHD display.

Processor,GPU,Ram & Storage

Both QMobile Noir A550 & QMobile Noir i9 is powered with Mediatek MT6582M processor with same Mali-400MP2 GPU coupled with 1GB of Ram and 4GB of Internal memory.So the performances of both doesn't make any difference and will perform almost the same.

Camera,Battery & Os 

Looking at the camera they both have the same 8MP sensor on the back with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera.
QMobile Noir A550 has a smaller battery of 1700mAh on smaller screen while QMobile Noir i9 has 2000mAh battery on larger screen.If you ask are they both enough i might answer no but still they will both give the same backup time or Noir A550 might give you more backup time then the Noir i9.
As all mtk phones are stuck on Jellybean so there's no surprise they both run on JellyBean 4.2.2.

Connectivity

Both the phones are dual sim and 3G enabled. In addition QMobile Noir i9 supports HSPA+ Some companies like T-Mobile consider it as 4G while some say's it'a enhanced version of 3G and call it 3.75G network.Making it clear the speed of HSPA+ is almost comparable to LTE.Anyhow from the connectivity point of view my vote goes to QMobile Noir i9.

Price

There is no major difference in price of both the phones where QMobile Noir A550 is priced at 16,000Rs and  QMobile Noir i9 is priced at 16,500Rs.

Opinion

Asking me which one you should go for i will definatley go for QMobile Noir i9 because of the display but still my vote will go for Noir A550 for the Design.If you are confused choosing one first ask yourself why you are buying? Do you need a handy device? yes! go for Noir A550. 

Are you a gaming fan and buying it for gaming or you like big phones? Yes! Go for QMobile Noir i9.
