The long waited 3G & 4G aution held today and sold to the lucky 4 operators out of five.Zong.Mobilink,Telenor and Ufone were declare the four winners of 3G while Zong was the only Company who bought the 4G Licence and becomes pakistan first and only 4G owner.
PTA told there were two 10Mhz license for 3G which were sold to Zong & Mobilink and rest two were 5Mhz whom were sold to Ufone and Telenor.
PTA told there were two 4G licence & only one was sold to Zong after winning bid while the cost of one 4g licence is Rs50 billion.
PTA told Second of two 4g licences could not be sold worth Rs21 billion each at the time while four licences of 3g spectrum has been sold out at Rs111 billion
