Recently we came to know Japan's Rakuten acquired Viber for $900 million today we came up with another news. Facebook is going to buy the whatsapp for  $19 billion yes you heard me Mark Zuckerberg, who bought Instagram for about $700 million in 2012 is now going to add the messaging service WhatsApp to the App's for the smartphone and the tablet.
Looking forward to the deal they will get $12 billion in facebook stock,$4 billion in cashstock, while  $3 billion in restricted stock units that will vest over four years. While the Whatsapp will keep it's name and continue to operate independently. WhatsApp co-founder and CEO Jan Koum will become a member of Facebook’s board of directors.
In a statement facebook said, WhatsApp has more than 450 million members, with 1 million users being added daily.



We can see the extraordinary growth of whatsApp from the Picture rising to almost 500 million users.
