Google announced at Google IO conference that Android has reached 900 million activations this year from the 500 million last year.They also claimed that 48 billions Apps were installed on playstore.Hugo Barra, vice president of Android management at Google io said that revenue per user is increased 2.5 times than last year all over the world and that is huge!! Also Keep in mind that the search giant only counts one activation per device regardless of how many times the device has been flashed with a ROM The Mountain View-based company dont even count the devices that aren't running Google services, which means Amazon's popular Kindle Fire isn't included in the numbers.It's gona not take much time now when android is gona hit one billion activations..OMG!!! Unbelievable isn't it?
