Guys we are up with Xperia custom ROM of QMobile Noir A6.We are really thankful to Mr Sohail Akram who provided us with this ROM.
all credit goes to xda developer forum. Me just visited various threads, collected roms, segregated things and shaped them to work for me. I am not contents creater, I am..mmmm jst nothing brothers)
take the responsibility if you brick your device. **Any one who wants to
try this it out should have clockwork recovery installed and phone must be
rooted and user current ROM must be backed up.*
*1)** First of all download the ROM from <Here>
OR
2) Place these files (system.ext4.tar + recovery.img + nandroid.md5 +
build.prop + boot.img) on your sdcard inside;
(if you use default file manager the path will be,
*/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/restore2/*
if you use "root explorer" path will be,
*mnt/sdcard2/clockworkmod/backup/restore2/*
*(sdcard MEAN REMOVEABLE EXTERNAL MEMORY CARD. **as user will backup his
current ROM before proceeding so "restore" named folder will might already be
present on SDcard2. so the downloaded Xperia Mod files should be placed in
a separate folder. creat new folder and rename it restore2, under path /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/here creat new folder and rename it restore2 and place downloaded xperia Rom files/)*
3) Turn off your phone and start it in recovery mode by pressing volume UP
+ volume down + power button.
4) backup current rom.
now
5) Choose wipe data/factory reset
6) Go to advanced -> wipe dalvik cache.
7) Go back again. -> mounts and storage -> format /system
Go back to main menu -> backup and restore -> restore. Choose the folder
“restore2”
OR if you don’t want boot.img and recovery.img to be changed, do step "9"
after step "7" , skip step "8":
9) Go back to main menu -> backup and restore -> advanced restore -> choose restore2, further choose system.
Congratulations you are done. Enjoy the Xperia MOD on your Noir A6. If you

thank you admin bro. i will mod more. now a days working on xperia smart connect and dlna funtionality and some other features. all credit goes to xda develpors forum , me just did some search and put myself on bricking risk, as testing new things playing with android is though itresting but risky too at the same time.. will upload more moded rom inshAllah. thnx and regardz. plz add "all credit goes to xda develpors forum" line at very top of this post. as you know paying thanx and crediting real peopl is true spirit of manship. thnx

i checked your rom it is good but it will be more good if remove the native problems of noir a6. for example

Ok. Gps to fix kia tha bhai. I had edited gps values. Tested myself it locks within 1min with cold start. Once gps locked futher it start functioning in 5 to 10sec. Ok sdcard ka problem b solv ho jay ga.

ReplyDeletedo nt give place in mind such words in pakistan. internationaly YES rooting void warrnty, bt no in pak. when i bought A6 i briked it while moding. that time i was newbi. contactd Qmob servis centr, they wre unable to install phone software for the product they own. u can judg capability. dont even tell u hv rooted mob. simply state phone nt working and claim warranty in case u hv briked and unable to recover.

revert to stock massaging app if problem. simply push to system stock Mms.apk and remove wch already in system. chang permission rw-r-r of newly pushed Mms.apk and reboot. u can get stock Mms.apk from ur stock rom nandroid backup created by cwm recovery file system.ext4.tar. open it through winrar. go to system--app--and find Mms.apk. extract that out and push to ur mobile system further in app folder by removing already present mms.apk do nt forget to chang permissions..

ReplyDeleteit seems u dont hv cwm recovery. 1st install cwm recovery brother. if u dont hv, then install mobile uncle tool apk in phone. place recovery.img from my rom in mobile internal memory. do not put in any folder, jst place openly in internal memory. open mobile uncle tool--> select Flash recovery from sdcard---> and confirm to install. then go to cwr recovery either directly from mobile uncle tool or by switching off phone and then power on by pressing vol up+vol down+power button togather. after that follow proceedure as mention in post. i hope u wil done.

ReplyDeleteit seems ur recovery is not compatible with phon or may be not working properly. plz install cwm recovery again. u can take cwm recovery from my rom. its puerly based on qmobile a6 partition structure. place recovery.img in internal memory openly, not inside any folder. install mobile uncle tool apk, u can google it to get apk. open mob uncle tool--->select Flash recovery from sdcard--->and select to install.(if ur mobile is connected to wifi its better to turn it off bcz after choosing flash recovery from sdcard online recoveries will also b shown along with one present in phone so u will confuse which to select.) after recovry installed, go to recovery mod ad follow proceedure as instructed. thnx
ReplyDeleteHow did you get Google Now for ICS 4.0.4 in this ROM?? I use a similar ROM for QMobile Noir A9 called Xperia Jelly 3.1 which is on 4.1.2. Just asking how to get Google Now to get it on my friends phone.

hey.. i tried that and some how i think i messed up, now i dont have the stock or the xperia messenger .. plz help

ReplyDeletei copyed the mms.apk into system/apps, restarted my mobile.. and nothing happened .. i checked the apps in setting and my messenger was gone 4m the list.. then i tried to Run the apk file.. and it told me could not be installed :s

ReplyDeleteHi, I've successfully install Xperia ROM on Qmobile A6, And It is very good. But Now I want to un-install this and go back to orignally install A6 Icecream Sandwich, I've viewed a backup folder named as the date in File Manager, Is this the Backup of Icecream Sandwich and Can I follow the same steps to Install it? Please suggest me How do I get? and Am i going right with the above. I am waiting for your reply. Thanks

ReplyDeleteyes you have to make a flashable zip to replace the logo to Q's.

Guyz who need to change their boot logo download it from here "http://www.pakgamers.com/forums/f118/highly-demanded-qmobile-noir-a8s-168030/" this is Qmobile A8's Boot Logo but it only says Qmobile all Qmobile users can use this boot logo, how to change extract xperia mod rom replace logo.bin with this downloaded logo.bin and flash the rom no more Next Generation logo then later on u can restore ur qmobile stock rom at least u will have the qmobile boot logo
ReplyDeletei have made a logo.bin it is not original A6 one but it is for qmobile, just download the update.zip and flash it via clockwork recovery i have tested it on my A6 and working awsum,
